Media passes are issued by the artist to bona fide news outlets, while we coordinate the actual media participation at the show.
In order to be considered for a media pass, you must be:
- A member of a print or web-based publication with readership in excess of 100,000 per month
- Affiliated with or working for a wire service such as A.P.I or Reuters
- A member of a commercial broadcast station with a valid FCC license
Specialty publications and broadcasters are sometimes provided with media passes depending on the circumstances and the artist (i.e., if your publication is an organic farming magazine and the artist advocates for organic farming). It’s always a good idea to email us about inclusion so that we can make the proper requests for you.
Media passes are not backstage passes. They only allow for the use of photographic or video equipment during a set part of the artist program. We reserve the right to eject any media that does not adhere to the time limitations and locations prescribed by the artist, or handles themselves in a provocative or unprofessional manner.
